This Renaissance era buckle of four Columbines flowers is associated with the Holy Spirit and the sorrows of the Virgin Mary. The Columbine flower was also used during the 14th century to the 17th century to lower fever, relieve childbirth pains and even help with poor eyesight. The six petal flower in the center is a symbol of love, just like the Aphrodite´s Flower representing the Godess and Divine sexual energy. The symbolism of the six flower petals is also associated with femininity and considered a perfect and Divine number.

Made from casted Zamak metal. Nickel free Electroplated. Antiqued and then hand polished to a mirror finish to reveal a bright and contrasting antique look. Embellished with five Swarovski crystals.

The belt bar accommodates both a 40mm and a 1 1/2 inch wide belt strap.
