On the renaissance crusade buckle, the Cross patonce buckle reflects heraldry and is a blend between a cross pattée and a cross flory (or fleury) and is jewelled with a manmade black onyx stone. The Renaissance might have been a revival from the Dark Ages, however it only effected the very wealthy. And in turn, those who they chose to sponsor. For this reason, the crusades were the driving force of Renaissance cross design.

Made from casted Zamak metal. Electroplated with 925 silver. Oxidized and then hand polished to a mirror finish to reveal a bright and contrasting antique look. Coated with an epoxy protective finish.

The belt bar accommodates both a 40mm and a 1 1/2 inch wide belt strap.
