The two Barbary lion (Panthera leo leo) silver buckle is of a completely extinct wild animal as a result of over-hunting and severe habitat loss. They are know as “royals” because Ethiopian and Moroccan royalty would make them their pets and are famous for their thick and long dark manes flowing over their shoulders. It is rumoured they were the ones that would fight the gladiators in the roman coliseum. Today they exist only in captivity. This magnificent two lion buckle were made from casted Zamak metal. Electroplated with 925 silver. Oxidized and then hand polished to a mirror finish to reveal a bright and contrasting antique look. Coated with an epoxy protective finish.

The belt bar accommodates both a 40mm and a 1 1/2 inch wide belt strap.
